Butyricum is a transient strain, meaning that if it isn’t continually introduced into your microbiome, it will eventually disappear. The effects of Butyricum only last while you are taking the product.

Can I Take Butyricum With Other Medication?

Pendulum probiotics are intended for use by the general, healthy adult population and are composed of commensal strains naturally found in the human gut. Each probiotic product consists of a single strain or a mixture of these strains to target certain health benefits. There are no known adverse interactions with Pendulum probiotic strains and other supplements or medications; however, we have not studied the impact of our probiotics in combination with any medications or supplements, including other Pendulum probiotics.

If you have any concerns, we recommend asking your healthcare provider when deciding which, if any, of our probiotics is a good fit for you.
