Gut health dilemma

Heard about the product thru a podcast Dr Mindy Pelz. Am on my 2nd bottle. My third bottle has just arrived. Not feeling any differently so far. But they recommended 3 months so will see how that goes! Fingers crossed. Website nice and easy to use. Choose to just renew the order every month so don’t have to worry about running low.

I ordered these pills in desperation, I hadn't been able to eat for 5 days when I ordered them They arrived 3 days later and I started them immediately The results were fast within hours I managed to eat a little and the feeling of despair I had been feeling dissipated. A month later I'm still able to eat and credit akkermansia for that.
I have long time suffered with digestive problems diagnosed as diverticulitis but have always doubted this is accurate . My own opinion differs and to me I seem to be allergic to "food" as I can't find any that doesn't cause pain to digest.

I like the product but had to stop taking after two months as it seemed to be increasing my histamine levels. This isn't a problem with the product but rather my body. I'm still working on my gut health, so may try it again at a later date.

How Much Akkermansia Does Pendulum Akkermansia Contain?

Each capsule of Pendulum Akkermansia contains 100 million AFUs of Akkermansia muciniphila WB-STR-0001.

Other brands measure CFUs. What are AFUs?

AFU stands for Active Fluorescent Unit. Like CFU, AFU is a measure of viable (live) bacteria. Both CFU and AFU represent a count of viable (live) bacteria. The difference is in the method used to measure them. CFUs are measured by plating on an agar plate while AFUs are measured by a flow cytometer. While the method of measure is different, they’re calibrated, so they’re in agreement with each other.

Does Pendulum Akkermansia Contain Any Major Allergens?

Pendulum formulations do not contain the nine major allergens (as identified by the FDA) including milk, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, or sesame. Pendulum products are manufactured in facilities that follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) which implement controls and cleaning processes to avoid any cross-contamination. Therefore, under normal manufacturing conditions at these facilities, we would not expect the nine major allergens to be present in any Pendulum products.

Is the Akkermansia strain used in Pendulum Akkermansia Live or Pasteurized?

Pendulum Akkermansia contains a live, freeze dried culture of Akkermansia muciniphila WB-STR-0001.

Can I Travel with Pendulum Akkermansia?

You can travel with Pendulum Akkermansia capsules as they do not need refrigeration. Please note that capsules should not be exposed to excessive heat or humidity.
